What kinds of jobs and industries did you work in before you started at Lexitas?
I worked retail for several years before moving to Barkley Court Reporters and then landing at AdvancedOne, now Lexitas 😊
Tell us a little bit about your current position here at Lexitas.
I handle billing for our Irvine office and most recently added Dallas to the list.
What are some of the biggest life lessons you've learned while working at Lexitas?
Balance.
What aspects of Lexitas that excite you the most, and why?
Being a part of a company that emphasizes the importance of teamwork, community, and work-life balance is exciting and refreshing.
What do you do in your spare time?
My husband, son, and I love to go to Disneyland, eat at Olive Garden and watch Kings hockey.
What's your favorite season?
Fall. It’s the start of the holidays and, most importantly, the start of hockey season.
What was your favorite item from the ice cream truck?
The Tweety Bird popsicle with gumballs for eyes.
What songs are you currently listening to?
Kendrick Lamar’s GNX album
If you could have any superhero power, what power would you have and why?
The power to fall asleep fast and stay asleep.
Is a hot dog a sandwich?
No, it’s a special category of its own.

What kinds of jobs and industries did you work in before you started at Lexitas?
I spent my first 10 years of my professional career at Dell Technologies where I worked in the technology industry. After that, I moved to Dubai where I started my own company that was focused on renewable energy.
Tell us a little bit about your current position here at Lexitas.
I am part of the new inside sales team – acquiring new business and delivering the Lexitas message to firms, creating awareness around all the great services that Lexitas provides, and transforming the legal services industry.
What are some of the biggest life lessons you've learned while working at Lexitas?
When the WHY is clear, the HOW is easy.
What aspects of Lexitas that excite you the most, and why?
I believe that Lexitas can become a dominant force in North America being a full serviced legal service provider in North America (and beyond).
I am impressed with the forward thinking and key investments in AI to future-proof the company, and I know that this opportunity to attack a market is one of a kind.
EVERYONE at Lexitas has been a pleasure to meet and are very nice and smart people.
What kind of music do you like?
Hip Hop.
You would receive a million dollars, but any time you forgot something, it's gone forever. Would you take the million dollars? Why?
I would take the million and retain the million. I am very confident in myself that I wouldn’t forget anything. I am surly not afraid of losing, but I’m certainly not afraid to win either!
If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Leap of Faith Starring Steve Martin (1992).
How toasted do you like your marshmallows for smores?
Slightly toasted.
What's one of your favorite vacations you've taken recently?
The Maldives.
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?
I would negotiate a contract to play myself in a lead role the movie.

What kinds of jobs and industries did you work in before you started at Lexitas?
Oil and gas, staffing agencies, and even have done some project management and worked with more than one start-up company.
Tell us a little bit about your current position here at Lexitas.
I am a HR coordinator who helps with new hires, any questions for the corporate and reporting divisions, and assists with any escalations needed.
What are some of the biggest life lessons you've learned while working at Lexitas?
To always try to be kind, positive, and patient with other people and treat others like you want to be treated.
What aspects of Lexitas that excite you the most, and why?
I love our HR team; we have a good mix of personalities and skills that complement each other.
Additionally, I have a heart for helping others and love our volunteer opportunities.
What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
Do an activity that challenges and possibly frightens you.
Which song would you choose to play every time you walked into a room?

What's a topic you could give a presentation on without any prep?
How to encourage teamwork and a positive attitude in the workplace.
What's the best gift you've ever given someone?
Time with a loved one. That is not something you can put a price tag on.
If I gave you money to start your own business, what business would you start?
Perhaps a medical billing company with the current state of medical care needs.
What are some of your hobbies or favorite activities?
I love spending time with my family and fur babies. We play games, cook, and watch movies.
Also, I am a regular blood donor of platelets which I make time for every few weeks on the weekends.

What kinds of jobs and industries did you work in before you started at Lexitas?
Before spending 12 years as a stay-at-home mom, I spent 7 years in the court reporting industry.
I worked for Paulson Reporting, which was acquired by Esquire in a similar role that I am currently working at Lexitas.
Tell us a little bit about your current position here at Lexitas.
I like to describe it as an emergency room and all the patients are transcripts, court reporters, lawyers, paralegals, and deadlines.
What are some of the biggest life lessons you've learned while working at Lexitas?
Every day isn’t going to be the best day, and some days can be downright challenging.
However, if you can remember to look on the bright side, the difficult days can be just another way to grow in both your career and life in general.
Being able to remain positive and look at things with optimism is an invaluable life lesson.
What aspects of Lexitas that excite you the most, and why?
I really love my team!
Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found such a great group of people to work with.
You would receive a million dollars, but every day one random object will stick to you for the rest of the day. Would you take the million dollars?
Absolutely!
I have two kids, so I do this every day for free anyway…
What is your favorite TV show?
Current fave is a series called SHRINKING.
What is the most recent book you've read?
Gift of Fear by Gavin De Becker.
What is something you would never want to try?
Surströmming.
Would you rather be always cold or always hot?
Cold.

How much bigger in size are you planning on getting?
When you adopted us, we thought you were just a normal cat.
