ST. LOUIS REPORTING
Why Be #1 When You Can Be #2,000,000,000
St. Louis Lexitas had the privilege of being the recipient of the 2 billionth package delivered by the USPS!
You can watch the local news reports about this below.
Motion for Kids Event
On December 8th the annual Motion for Kids holiday party brought joy to nearly 2,500 children in foster care or impacted by the criminal justice system in the St. Louis area.
Organized by the The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) and the Saint Louis Bar Foundation, this event has become a heartwarming tradition, offering kids and their families a day filled with gifts, laughter, and holiday magic. ✨🎅
One of the highlights of the event is the Santa Station, and we’re proud to say this marked 30 years of our team (first as Midwest Litigation, then Alaris, and now with Lexitas) volunteering to make this day extra special. From dressing up to gathering letters for Santa, our incredible volunteers brought smiles to so many little faces. A special thanks to our volunteer Santas – Mike Gunn, Judge Michael David, Judge Michael Mullen, and Peter Dunne – for their holiday spirit and generosity.
Many thanks also to Sally Montgomery for organizing the Lexitas team’s efforts and to everyone who contributed their time and resources to making this event a success. The kindness and dedication of all the volunteers and sponsors never cease to amaze.
Here’s to 30 years of making memories and sharing the spirit of the season. A heartfelt thank you to BAMSL, the sponsors, and all the volunteers who continue to create such a magical day for these families. ❤️
Thanksgiving Celebration
From Debbie Weaver: It’s always special to be back at my “home base” in St. Louis, reconnecting with the incredible staff, court reporters, neutrals, and clients I have the privilege of working with at Lexitas. Yesterday’s Thanksgiving lunch was a great reminder of the community we’ve built and the evolution we’ve shared – from the early days of Alaris to now as part of Lexitas.
This tradition has grown over the years, and while my husband and I used to cook the meal ourselves back in the Alaris days, it’s heartwarming to see how it has evolved with the support of our amazing team. A huge shoutout to Sally Montgomery, Christy Clark, Nicole Dittmann, and Kim Schmitt, who went above and beyond to make this gathering such a success. Your hard work and dedication to taking care of our clients and facilities never go unnoticed!
Thank you to everyone who attended, especially our neutrals who could make it despite their busy schedules. Celebrating the season with all of you is truly one of the highlights of my year. 🍂🦃
Texas Reporting
With a combination of happiness for her and sadness for us, Sally Rach retired from Lexitas, with her last day being November 29, 2024.
Sally has been an essential fixture in the company for over 30 years. Through the years Sally advanced through the ranks, finally landing in the role of Director of Client Services within the Texas Court Reporting BU, for the last 30 years. Sally has been instrumental in the growth of our company and she will be missed dearly. We won't forget how much her own admirable career has inspired us all to do our best each and every day.
We will certainly miss Sally and we wish her all the best.

Their annual brunch where she served under-resourced families and individuals who are experiencing homelessness in particular and relational ways while connecting them with resources and services that meet their needs.

West Palm Beach Reporting
Helping After Helene
We wanted to take a moment to highlight the remarkable efforts of our colleague, Joann Gore, who recently delivered much-needed supplies to communities affected by Hurricane Helene.
With the support of a Lexitas donation, Joann made two trips – one to Valdosta, Georgia, and another to Keaton Beach, Florida – both of which were severely impacted by the storm.
In her hometown of Valdosta, Joann, alongside her son Wyatt (who spent his birthday helping!), they delivered Gatorade and snacks to a local church that serves as a drop point for Samaritan’s Purse. These supplies were essential for the volunteer crews – especially those working outdoors on cleanup efforts. Valdosta has been devastated by the hurricane, and Joann’s contributions brought vital relief to the community, including many of her family and friends.
Following her initial visit to Valdosta, Joann asked what additional items were needed, and she was able to use the remaining funds to provide hoses, shovels, rakes, laundry baskets, detergent, and sheet sets in preparation for the arrival of FEMA trailers. The community was especially grateful for the shovels and rakes as they worked to recover and rebuild.
Joann’s efforts and dedication are a testament to the values we hold at Lexitas, and her personal involvement has made a real difference to those struggling in the wake of Hurricane Helene.
We are incredibly proud of her initiative and want to thank her for representing Lexitas in such a meaningful way.
